Volunteer Position: Camp Cook
Description of Position (duties):
Each summer we have an opportunity to transform the lives of 300 kids during the 8-week camp season out at Camp Summit. We are looking for dedicated cooks who are willing to cook and serve one or more meals a week out at camp. You will not believe the impact you will have on the lives of many children and teens that often do not get three square meals a day.
Schedule/Time Commitment:
Camp 2010 runs from the first full week in June through the last week in July. We need people to cook one or more meals a week for 8 weeks.
Requirements/Giftedness:
Safe & happy in the kitchen!
Impact:
Feed kids and teens a meal that they may not have otherwise have had.
