Youth Hope a Ministry of Christian Friendliness
History of Youth Hope

Youth Hope Philosophy

In reaching out and building intentional relationships with those people of the community whose needs are not currently being served by our community and local churches. We are able to meet their needs, help develop them, and share the hope we have found in Jesus Christ. No one is turned away from our love and support.

History of YouthHope

YouthHope is a non-profit, para-church, and children and youth outreach that started as Christian Friendliness in 1936. Beginning with a 'backyard Bible club' type of outreach, CF has expanded over the years to first operating out of a home, and now out of two youth centers. Activities for children and youth operate on an almost daily basis in both of our centers. Call our administrative office to find out when activities are being held.

The ministry also owns a camp that is 40 miles south of Moline in New Windsor, Illinois. During the summer months we are able to offer our kids and teens a week-long camping experience -- one they might not ever have otherwise. Camp Summit is also utilized for day trips as well as overnight retreats throughout the school year.
